Homeschool at the Technology & Learning Center
Join our super-fun Homeschool CODE, Computers & Technology course! Wednesdays 9am-11am, 8 sessions per quarter (closed for holiday weeks). The first part of class is lesson and activity time, and we try to always allow extra time at the end of class for team freeplay of MINECRAFT, ROBLOX, and other fun games. Our class size limit is 10 students, and students may arrive up to 30m early for typing practice. Tuition is $300 for the exciting 8-week course.
Each Wednesday computer class will also incorporate a STEAM (science, tech, engineering, art, mathematics) activity when time allows.

About the teacher:
I am Wendy Thompson, the owner of the facility, and happily married mother of three children: a college graduate son and twin 10th grade daughters. I have 20 years of experience in teaching technology to children and adults. I am a certified teacher with M.Ed. and computer science certification. My husband, Steven Thompson, is a technology teacher at a private school in Lakeview. We also have additional teachers on staff assisting with all math levels thru college.
I am so proud of the hard work of my students. I feel that it is very important for our youth to be educated in technology and exposed to various applications so that they are fully prepared for college and future careers. This is the driving force behind my instructional classes, and my passion for teaching them.
Custom designed technology-days for schools/groups traveling to us are available. Please contact wendy@spiderts.com if you would like more info or wish to schedule a tour of our Center.
